STRATEGIES FOR RECOVERING A TOWN

The project was located in Guardamar, Alicante, in a lost place
The existing area is a space with a huge lack of life and activity, but full of possibilities. So the principal aim is to take advantage of all of that potentiality by valuing some different uses and agents.
To carry out that, we organized the different areas like cells, using the next strategy.
Analysis
After that analysis, we started to think about the amount of possibilities and the potential of some different points of the whole area.
In the next image is shown the whole area and the four different proposals of each on. In all of them trying to transmit the idea of the new architectural intervention.
The use of the existing but empty public space, the creation of a new promenade that will connect the different spaces, the elevation of the mountain and the way to enable the water canal.
