UTOPIA OF A CITY
The creation of a new city needs a thorough and detailed analysis of the needs of the existing and new society. The new city is located in Quilotoa, in the central part of Ecuador.
The project is divided into different phases, over which are corrected and improved, so the result is the superposition of the improved parts of all phases.
Day evolution
The first steps are the creation of infrastructures and the energy sources (geothermal energy). Later the public spaces and buildings, food sources, the relationship of citizens and the intimate scale, to see the way of life of the population.
The goal of the project was also creating complexity, that's why every vertical building is different, and also that's the reason why there are different ways of living: in the buildings, mountains, under the lake...
Night evolution
The night was another important point of the project. As every city is different during the day and night, this was going to be the same. In this way, lights will turn on and let the city be seen. Different elements and ways of life will appear.
During the process of night some images appeared making rendering tests, and here we have the result.
